Yo friends.
I've been busy zipping back and forth between
Malaysia and
Singapore for the past 2 weeks or so. Eating, sleeping, slacking non-stop.
Mom dragged us down to a plant nursery last week, and carted home
16 different types of flowers - mainly the
Bunga Raya (Malaysia's national flower). Perhaps she's trying to prov e that she is indeed a
Malaysian. Having survived the traumatic 5-hour journey in the boot of our car, they're now sitting in a
neat little row in the middle of our garden - no one knows what to do with them, or where to plant them. -_-''
To be fair, they ARE quite
pretty.

The
prettiest of the bunch, love the soft blended colours.

A HUGE
orange one - possibly about the size of my face.
Possibly.

Just to prove that yes, it really is THAT big.

A
GORGEOUS species of the Bunga Raya.
Even our gardener remains in awe of it. SWEET.

Leaves the shape of
winged butterflies...

It's called the '
Saliva Flower' (口水花).
Not the most appealing thing, but mom insisted on buying it.

And finall, a tribute to lil bro's photography technique.
Nice photo. Interesting plant.
..signing off..
